baselcitystudios is a studio complex built on an area of 1200qm, ocuppying
two floors and offering multifarious audio services of international standard
and quality.
A multifunctional sound workshop providing the present day demands in music,
advertising,
industry and film music.
Through an uncompromised choice of all installation materials, this concept
offers an optimum of flexibility, working safety and durability.
The centrally positioned machine room is radially connected to: 4 recording
rooms, 5 control
rooms, 2 preproduction rooms, a video production centre (groundfloor) and an
external docking station for an outside broadcast mobile. |

Through the use of "twin-purpose" conductors the entire audio connections can
be implimented for both digital and analogue purposes.
The choice of specific configuration eg. mic-lines, line-signals, foldback
etc. is freely patchable
in the central machine room.
The "jitter-free" digital network is managed by a Quantec House Sync clock
system. |

| All rooms are connected with
high quality, multipurpose control-lines allowing all possible variations
of communication and data exchange. During the installation period
of 7 months (including planning) were installed: 5km. BELDEN double shielded 1805F audio cable. 2km. Alcatel double shielded digital control cable. 6km. Cordial double shielded CVI (+/- 1%) clock and video cable.
